This sculpture is made of Sculpey modeling compound and the shell from a chicken egg, so the scale is rather small. Each image is actually a composite of three photos. Each photo was taken with a single white light source shining on the sculpture from a different direction. The three photos were independently colorized and then added together to create the illusion of a single photograph taken with three different colored light sources.
